I do hope you get this message. Than...Hi Grandma,

I do hope you get this message. Thank you so much for the American Express gift card. It was so nice of you, thanks again so much. In fact I've already used it to go out to a dance club that I otherwise would not have.

I really liked your entry here. I think especially these days a great many of us are feeling unneeded or under-needed. The answer I've kind of come to is that we need to go after the things we want in life and then ask ourselves if we are, in fact, happier after having achieved them. Christian Scientists believe that Life is an illusion, but it's a mental illusion, not a material one. It's our thoughts that trick us, and then we have to wonder then how they could be our thoughts if they are so harmful to our emotional well-being.
I understand now, why Mary Baker Eddy talks about Man thinking of himself as a Creator. It's rules that we create, but funny isn't that we each have our own version of what those rules are? We have to erase our rules and be attentive to signs.

I haven't got it nearly figured out, and I expect that's not actually possible, because as Socrates said in Ancient Greece, "the more I know, the more I realize just how little I know," in total.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for your generous gift and that it's helping me to get my Life turned around little by little. And I'm really happy about that.

Lot's of Love,

JordanCavalier829https://www.blogger.com/profile/17107646110127593992noreply@blogger.com
